The event was moderated and primarily organized by Dr. Heinke Fabritius, cultural officer for Transylvania, the Carpathian region, Bessarabia, and Dobruja at the Transylvanian Museum in Gundelsheim am Neckar. The discussion focused on Bucharest, Berlin, and Tübingen as (adopted) homes, the meaning of home, and German-Romanian connections and encounters in Romania and Germany.

The audience also included 20 students from the University of Tübingen, who were participating in the workshop hosted by Prof. Dr. Reinhard Johler, PD Dr. Daniela Simon, and Dr. Cristian Cercel led the excursion seminar “Bucharest – Diversity (in) a Big City”.
