Margret Findeisen studied Allgemeine Rhetorik and Empirische Kulturwissenschaft (bachelor's degree) at the University of Tübingen, completing her master's degree in Allgemeine Rhetorik in 2017. She then worked for several years as a press spokesperson and consultant in culture and politics. From 2021 to 2025, she was a research assistant and doctoral candidate at the Ludwig-Uhland-Institut für Empirische Kulturwissenschaft in Tübingen and it's Arbeitsstelle ‚Sprache in Südwestdeutschland‘ where she focused memories of flight and expulsion in the descendant generation. In summer 2025 she submitted her dissertation entiteled 'Vertriebene Erinnerungen? Zur Rezeption historischer Tonbandaufnahmen mit „Heimatvertriebenen“ in der Nachfahrengeneration.' Since September 2025, she has been a research assistant at the Institut für donauschwäbische Geschichte und Landeskunde.
