The Archive of the IdGL took over two new collections in June.
On June 6, in Ravensburg, Mrs Lilli-Maria Berner handed over to the Archive documents of her husband, Helmut Berner, long-time chairman of the Homeland Association of Sathmar Swabians.
On June 29, after attending the festivities on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Danube Swabian Central Museum in Ulm, the Archive of the IdGL took over a part of the film, photo and slide collection of the Homeland Association of Banat Swabians.
The Institute would like to thank the Berner family, the Homeland Association of Banat Swabians, and its chairman, Peter-Dietmar Leber, as well as Walter Tonța, head of the Cultural and Documentation Centre of the Homeland Association of Banat Swabians, for the future-oriented collaboration.
