Forum of Danube Swabian Associations

The exchange with representatives of the Danube Swabian refugees and expellees from Southeastern Europe takes place within the framework of the Forum of Danube SwabianAssociations. The forum includes the chairpersons of the four Danube Swabian regional associations:

  • Joschi Ament (Federal Chairman of the Regional Association of the Hungarian Germans)
  • Thomas Erös (Federal Chairman of the Regional Association of the Satu Mare Swabians)
  • Peter-Dietmar Leber (Federal Chairman of the Regional Association of the Banat Swabians)
  • Jürgen Harich (Federal Chairman of the Regional Association of the Danube Swabians)

The forum provides an important platform for dialogue and collaboration between the Institute of Danube Swabian History and Regional Studies and the representative bodies of the Danube Swabian communities.
